jagten.

My boyfriend and I spontaniously went to watch the new movie “JAGTEN” in the movie theatre yesterday… and I’m telling you guys before it’s too late – DON’T DO THAT TO YOURSELVES!
well…. actually that was just my first reaction after watching it… I wanted to tell everybody to not go watch it. That movie made me so mad… oh no, wait.. it actually made me SO ANGRY that I could’ve killed someone! I left the movie theatre in a hurry and with ice-cold frustration and anger! I didn’t know what to do with myself.. I just couldn’t bear that movie – I was on the edge of leaving the movie theatre throughout the fucking entire movie, because I just had this awfully sick feeling about it…… I just wanted to scream the whole time!
I got so frustrated that I found myself not being able to get on a bus in the fear of hurting myself or the other people on the bus, so we walked all the way home in the middle of the night, it was freezing out.. and we walked fast (or I did, and then Christian was just following haha). We actually walked 3,5 km on only 23 minutes – that’s pretty fast.. just saying :)

Well, I’ve come to another conclusion than the one I got out of my first reaction.. My conclusion is that this movie has to be one of the best movies ever made since it could affect me this much (even though I know I’m quite easily affected by movies – but never this much!.. and I know a lot of other people got at least a little frustrted too).
This movie has really hit a lot of people hard… and that can only ever be a huge complement to the person who made the movie (in this case Thomas Vinterberg).. because that’s what you want to get out of it as a director – you want to be able to pass on all the strongly felt emotions in the movie to the audience… and when people get sick and frustrated like that – then it’s just “mission accomplished”.

I’m starting to think that none of what I’m writing makes sense anymore.. I’m really tired. But the short conclusion: GET THE FUCK OUT OF YOUR HOUSE RIGHT NOW AND GO WATCH THAT MOVIE!.. then thank me later.
